He said that the BSP Telangana unit took the prior permission of the party high command and within a day or two he would speak with Mayavati to seal the deal.

Praveen Kumar said that he was very happy to personally meet KCR. He expressed concern over the demise of secular values in Indian politics. He said that KCR had fought valiantly against the rightist politics of the BJP. The former IAS officer said that the Congress Government in the State was emulating BJP’s working style.

“It has been three months since Congress took over, but the unemployed youth have been facing several problems. We have decided to work together with the BRS. We will appraise the issue of seat sharing to the party’s high command. This alliance will help to improve the lot of the weaker sections in the State,” he said. He said that a final picture of the alliance would emerge after KCR spoke with Mayavati.
