HYDERABAD: In some good news to farmers of the State, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has given the green signal for distribution of Rythu Bandhu. In a review meeting on Monday, Revanth directed the finance department to release funds under the scheme to farmers from December 11.

As the procedure for changes with respect to scheme amount and identification of tenant farmers have not been finalised yet, the Chief Minister asked the authorities to release payments to farmers as per the existing procedure in the BRS Government's rule. He also directed officials to come up with procedures to ensure implementation of farm loan waivers up to Rs two lakh.

Among other important decisions taken up are:

- Praja Darbar would be rechristened as Praja Vani and would be held every Tuesday and Friday from 10 am to 1 pm at the Jyoti Rao Phule Bhavan.

- There would be separate queues for differently abled and women.
