AMARAVATHI: Education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana, has announced the release of the mega DSC notification in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at a media conference after the release of notification here on Wednesday, the minister said that the notification included the filling of 6,100 teacher posts with the application process to beginning from February 12, and the results would be announced on April 7.

He said that the mega DSC had a total of 6,100 posts under seven categories, which included 2,299 School Assistant posts, 2,280 SGT posts, 1,264 TGT posts, and 215 PGT posts. The minister highlighted the importance of education by the government and said that it had invested Rs. 73,000 crores in education over the past five years.

He said that the DSC process would begin with the submission of applications from February 12 to 22 of this month on the official website. He said candidates would have the option to take an online mock test on the February 24, and hall tickets could be downloaded from March 5 followed by examination from March 15 to 30. The preliminary key would be released on the March 32, and objections could be submitted on the April 1. The final key would be released on April 2, and the DSC results would be announced on April 7.

The minister also stated that the TET process would also be conducted alongside the DSC process. According to the minister, the TET notification would start from February 8, and applications could be submitted online on the website from February 8.

The candidates were advised to take an online mock test on the February 19, and hall tickets could be downloaded from the February 23. The AP TET exams would be conducted in two sessions from the February to March 9 and the preliminary key would be released on March 10, and objections could be submitted till the March 11. The final key would be released on March 13, and the TRT final results would be declared on the March 14.

The minister also mentioned that examination centers had been set up in other states as well for the students residing there.
