Kolhapur uses unique tech for Ganesh immersions

KOLHAPUR: The administration in Kolhapur is using a Telescopic Conveyor for the immersion of Ganesh Idols.

The conveyor not only allows speedy immersion but is also an eco-friendly option.,

Reportedly, the belt extends upto 35 ft and can rotate 180 degrees which helps avoid the contact between humans and the water body.
