HYDERABAD: In a significant development, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has announced his support for Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSRCP in the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Highlighting the welfare initiatives undertaken by the YSRCP for the betterment of the underprivileged over the past five years, Owaisi commended Jagan for championing the rights of minorities. He termed TDP and Janasena regional actors in Andhra Pradesh and Prime Minister Modi as national-level actor. He challenged Chandrababu Naidu to confront Modi. He opined that Naidu would have to dance to the tunes of BJP.
Owaisi asserted that only Jagan possessed the capability to challenge and defeat Modi, urging Muslim minorities to rally behind the YSRCP in the ensuing general elections.
