HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy took cognisance of the Cyberabad traffic police evicting Kumari Aunty’s eatery. He asserted that the eatery would continue at the same place and that’s what Praja Palana was all about.

The Chief Minister would soon visit he would visit the eatery soon.

In a post on social media platform X, Chief Public Relations Officer Ayodhya Reddy Boreddy said: “Hon’ble CM Sri @Revanth_Anumula garu directed the @TelanganaDGP&MAUD to rescind their decision to shift #KumariAunty a streetside eatery. She will stay in her place. Prajala Palana means the govt stands by entrepreneurs. Congress govt will stand by poor & visit her stall shortly.”

It may be recalled that the Cyberabad police asked Kumari Aunty to shut down her eatery as it was causing traffic snarls on the road adjacent to ITC Kohenur in Madhapur.

Kumari, an Instagram fame, had objected to the police asking her to evict citing several other businesses were running around and that the she ran her business for just two hours. She had said that she was bringing food only for about 500 people and all of them would not come at the same time.

The eviction warning had caused a stir between the supporters of the YSR Congress and the Telugu Desam Party-the Jana Sena Party on social media platform X.
