HYDERABAD: "We are confident of securing a significant victory, with high turnout expected in the silent vote, and potentially winning one more seat than our 2018 victory," said BRS working minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday.

KTR expressed confidence in BRS victory in Telangana State Assembly elections 2023, predicting victory in Mulugu, Huzurabad, Goshamahal, Maheshwara seats, and minimum seats in Khammam.

KTR urged people not to believe the fake surveys conducted by the Congress, claiming that TPCC president Revanth Reddy would lose both Kamareddy and Kondangal seats, while the BRS would win at least ten seats in the Mahabubnagar district.

Denying all the hype and rumours spread by gossip mongers, self-proclaimed intellectuals, and analysts, KTR predicted that the BRS would easily secure 51 percent of the vote in Telangana State Assembly elections in 2023.

"We're winning tough seats as well this time. We will win 8-9 seats in Khammam and 8-9 seats in Medak. After visiting rural areas and speaking with people, I believe we will win more than we did in 2018," said KTR.

He slammed Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy for not campaigning against Raj Singh, Arvind Dharmapuri, and Bandi Sanjay, claiming a secret collusion between the BJP and the Congress.

KTR predicted the BJP would struggle to win any seats and claimed that Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah's campaign in Telangana was solely for the Loksabha 2024 elections.

Concerning the Rythu Bandhu scheme controversy, KTR said that the stoppage was done at the behest of the Congress.

Congress leader Uttam Kumar Reddy and TPCC president Revanth Reddy both wrote to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to stop the scheme.

"Stopping money in an ongoing scheme is truly unfortunate. If ECI had a problem with BRS leader Harish Rao, they would have taken action against him, but why stop it? And they won't be able to stop us after December 5, 2023. All beneficiaries will receive the pending Rythu Bandhu amount after December 5, 2023," said KTR.

KTR, who is eager to develop Telangana's tourism sector, said that if elected to a third term in 2023, he would happily take on a tourism portfolio. The party leadership is set to make a decision on the next course of action on December 9, 2023, as it is a historic day for Telangana, he added.

KTR, who is confident of a clean sweep in Hyderabad, said that Telangana is only about KCR and Telangana politics, and that the Telangana agitation revolves around one man, KCR.

He added, "Our track record is more important than our manifesto, don't underestimate the common man because they are not confused. We will definitely win one more seat than we did in 2018, because people understand that if they give power to Congress, they will lose power."
