CHITTOOR: In an unexpected turn of events, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy touched the feet of a farmer in Morava Kandriga of Penumuru mandal in Chittoor district after the farmer expressed his happiness over the welfare schemes being implemented and development taking place in the state.

Going into details, as part of the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhuthvam (Our governance to every doorstep) programme, which is underway across the state, Deputy chief minister Narayana Swamy went around the houses in the village. There, he met a farmer Radha Naidu who hails from an influential community in the state.

Radha Naidu, while asked about the welfare measures, expressed his happiness over the schemes being implemented by the YS Jaganmohan Reddy government, regardless of caste considerations and party affiliations. He went one step further and said that people want to see YS Jagan retaining power and as Chief Minister next time also.

Thrilled and overawed by the farmer's aspiration, Deputy CM Narayana Swamy immediately touched his feet and claimed that there was a change in the people's thinking, steering clear of caste lines. He said that this change in ideology was conspicuously evident among the people of certain communities.
